We experienced an anomaly on one of our Mail Servers this morning that required disaster recovery procedures. We do not expect any data loss, but unfortunately it will take several hours to correct the problem.

We are still working the recovery procedure, but still expect several more hours of downtime.

We have encountered additional problems and are still working the recovery procedure. The mail server will be down through the night. We expect all systems to be back online by Saturday morning. It is important to understand that we do not expect any loss of data. We sincerely apologize for the interruption in service and lost productivity associated with it.

We are still working the recovery procedure. The progress is now far along and ahead of schedule; very promising. We are on-track for operations to resume in the morning.

The recovery process has completed successfully!
All systems are operating nominally. We were able to move this server to the new equipment in the process. Thank you for your patience and I once again apologize for the extreme inconvenience during this event. We are working diligently, day and night, to migrate these systems to new faster equipment that incorporates stability using high availability, fault tolerance and fail over. The end process is a better experience for you, the end user.
